Green Smoothie1-2 stalks of kale
1 stalk swiss chard or collard greens
½ avocado
1 apple
1 pear
2-3 cups clean filtered water
Small piece of ginger (optional)
Note: add 1-2 dates if desired for more sweetness

 

 

Instructions:

  1. Fill a high-speed blender jar with about 2-3 cups water
  2. Add kale and chard/collards until it fills to the top of the jar, blend until smooth
  3. Add avocado, pear, apple and ginger, blend until smooth
  4. Drink immediately and put the rest in mason jars and keep in the fridge for up to 1 day. This is a great nutritious breakfast or mid morning/afternoon snack!

**Alternative: To save time, blend all ingredients at one time.
