Life can be hectic, so we tend to push and push ourselves and forget to take time to replenish. This is not sustainable. Our bodies can only handle so much pressure, and in due time, it will max out.
If you are ready for a shift in your physical, emotional and mental health, this 7-day morning cleanse challenge is for you! Following this simple ritual will elevate your health in so many ways!
For the next 7 days, I invite you to focus on your self care by prioritizing your nutrition, exercise and rest! Start your day with live nutrients by drinking these three amazing cleansing drinks. Then follow with 20-30 minutes of movement like walking, jogging, yoga, cardio, strength training, or just dancing around the house. Also be sure to schedule in small windows of breaks and rest throughout the day. This will help you to feel more balanced and grounded.
The Morning Cleanse:
Drinking these nutrient packed hydrating drinks will set you up for a healthy, energetic and productive day. This is the same ritual that I show my clients who come with debilitating and chronic health conditions, and the results are always astounding – immediate relief of their symptoms and they feel so much better within days and weeks.
I encourage you to give this a try for at least one week and continue for as long as you can. For more fun and motivation, invite your spouse/friends/children to do it with you. It takes time to prep and make these for you and maybe for the whole family, but it’s so worth it for all the health benefits. I’m certain that you will notice significant improvements in your gut health, energy, mental clarity, skin/hair/nails, sleep quality, hormones, mood, weight, and so much more!
First thing after waking up –
Drink 16 to 32 oz. of spring or filtered water with 1/2 lemon juice or fruit infused water.
Second Step –
Drink 16-32 oz. freshly pressed organic celery juice (aka miracle juice). You’d need about one whole stalk of celery to make 16 oz. of juice, using a juicer. Or you could alternate between celery and green juice.
Note: if 16 oz. is too cleansing for you, then start with a smaller amount like 4 or 8 oz. and work your way up.
Optional Green Juice Recipe:
1/2 stalk of celery
1/2 bunch kale
2 cups parsley
1 inch ginger root
Wash all ingredients and cut into small chunks. Juice in a juicer and enjoy within 15 mins for best nutrients and results.
Third Step –
Drink 16-32 oz. Fruit & Green Smoothie
Immune Boosting Smoothie Recipe
2 handfuls spinach
12 oz. frozen dragon fruit (pitaya)
2 cups wild blueberries
1 cup papaya (Maradol or organic non-gmo)
1 cup water
Optional: add 1 tsp. barley grass juice powder or spirulina for more nutrients
Blend until smooth and enjoy as a delicious breakfast! After drinking all three of these drinks and you still feel hungry, you can have some wholesome oatmeal.
